V-shaped knife is the best decision for busbar cutting at the moment: the angles of the cutting surface and structural properties of the knife are improved for cutting with saving the flatness of the butt end. The special feature of the V-shaped knife is that the edges of a busbar hike up and the cut surface becomes deformed, thus the precision of cutting is decreased.
That is exactly why during modifying the tool we added a quick-lock holder of the cut edge of a busbar. Locking and unlocking of the holder is implemented in one hand move. If necessary, the quick-lock holder can be put into the position while the zone of busbar transporting is totally free.
The system of setting the coincidence of axis of a busbar and hydraulic cylinder of the tool SHR-150+ has also been modified: putting a busbar into the transportation zone an operator brings the guide clamps together with the help of the hand screw, thus aligning the busbar towards the main axis of the tool.
The third important feature of SHR-150+ is the roller for transporting a heavy busbar which is installed on the backside of the tool. The surface of the roller is made of soft plastic, the roller is installed a bit lower than the surface of the tool, that helps to ease the work of an operator, to keep the saleable condition of a busbar and to exclude the damage of the roller during busbar cutting.
